Old Manah neighbourhood to become tourist destination

An old neighbourhood in Al Dakhiliyah is targeted to become a popular tourist destination.

Manah neighbourhood in Al Dakhiliyah is the largest out of 1,200 in the Sultanate and features a taste of Omani culture and architecture for visitors to enjoy.

Seventy houses in the neighbourhood have already been renovated and are now open to visiting tourists.

The neighbourhood also contains nearly 250 wells and its history goes back to the 12th century.

“There are tickets that can be sold to tourists, and prices will vary based on age and the number of visitors in a group, and there is also a discount for citizens.” Majid Al Abri, Operations Manager at Al Imara Al Areeqah Reconstruction.
