British Defence Secretary thanks Oman after successful military exercise

Muscat: British Secretary of State for Defence Gavin Williamson thanked Oman for its hospitality following a recent trip to the Sultanate.

In a tweet, the official wrote,"I was delighted to spend time in Oman and I thank the Royal Omani Army, Navy and Air Force for their gracious hospitality. #SaifSareea embodies the close relationship between Omani and British forces and I look forward to strengthening the important bond between our two nations."

The MP for South Staffordshire was in Oman to oversee the conclusion of the Saif Al Sareea 3 joint military exercises.

He added, "We’ve been superbly hosted by the highly professional Royal Omani Army, Navy and Air Force. Thank you."
