Muscat: The Public Authority of Civil Defence and Ambulance issued a statement after a video shared on social media showed a rescue vehicle being swept away by a flowing wadi.
The statement read, "Regarding the video, which shows a water rescue vehicle being swept away at Falaj al Qabail Wadi in Sohar while a trapped citizen was being rescued, PACDA confirms that the citizen as well as their employees are safe and in good condition."
"PACDA urges everyone to not take risks by attempting to cross wadis for the safety of everyone involved," the statement added.
