Sayyid Fahd receives Moroccan Foreign Minister

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers received yesterday Nasser Bourita, Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, chairman of the Moroccan side in the Omani- Moroccan Joint Committee.
The Minister conveyed the greetings of King Mohammed VI of Morocco to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said along with his heartfelt wishes to His Majesty The Sultan and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
Sayyid Fahd praised the strong ties between the two countries and the keenness of the leaders of the two countries for the interests of the peoples of the two brotherly countries. The meeting discussed the bilateral relations and ways of enhancement of the efforts of the Omani-Moroccan Joint Committee, encouragement of private sector in both the countries and a number of regional and international issues of concern.
In his turn, Sayyid Fahd asked the Minister to convey His Majesty the Sultan’s sincere greetings and wishes to King Mohamed VI and for his country’s people further progress and prosperity. It was attended by Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs and Moroccan ambassador to the Sultanate.
