Oman issues statement on Saudi investigation of journalist's disappearance

Muscat: The Omani government has issued a statement regarding Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Khashoggi and the investigation completed by Saudi authorities about his disappearance.
"The Sultanate has followed the statement given by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding preliminary results of the tragic incident that occured with citizen Jamal Khashoggi, may he rest in peace, and the Sultanate welcomes the transparency of the kingdom's procedures in the matter," Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Sunday.
