Illegal warehouses, workshops shut down by municipal authorities

Muscat: Muscat Municipality seized and shut down some companies for storing electronic goods without a license in Boushar on Monday.
According to authorities, unlicensed maintenance workshops were shut down as well.
"The Urban Inspection Department of the General Directorate of Bausher seized some companies for activities such as storing electronic goods without a license. This was in addition to the existence of unlicensed maintenance workshops, which violates the laws as far as the regulation of the markets is concerned," an official Muscat Municipality statement said.
