Oman Committee for University Sports reveals its annual calendar

Muscat: The Oman Committee for University Sports (OCUS) revealed in its annual meeting with representatives of higher education institutions its calendar of 2019, including local and foreign tournaments.
“In 2019, we seek to return to the path of achievements at the Arab and Asian levels after finding stability in the technical bodies that we hope will result in achievements in 2019,” said Dr. Salim bin Khamis Al Araimi, Chairman of OCUS.
Ahmed Al Darmaki, OCUS Secretary General said that the calendar will include nine local tournaments and seven foreign tournaments, such as the participation, among others, in the Arab University Championship in Egypt in April, the Summer Universiade in July in the Italian city of Naples, the Asian Championship in South Korea in September, and the Asian Championship in Thailand in November.
