Muscat: The National Business Centre (NBC) signed recently two agreements to incubate Al Dhaw Sustainability Energy Company and Salikon for Knowledge Company in the presence of Malak Al Shaibani, Director General of NBC, and owners of the incubated companies.
Al Dhaw Sustainability Energy Company is specialised in providing studies of grid power system, and studies of renewable energy, its tools and reduction of its impact using specialised electrical system software. Al Dhaw aims at helping customers (electricity sector companies) to find appropriate designs and appropriate points to connect (POC) renewable energy network, creating designs and solutions in the renewable energy and electricity, finding points for selling renewable energy technologies, among other objectives.
Salikon for Knowledge, the second incubated company, was established in 2018 as a company specialised in sustainable community development that supports knowledge and professional guidance through comprehensive services and programmes for local and external communities. Salikon offers interactive workshops and specialised programmes in partnership with public, private and civil society bodies.
The two companies will benefit from the services offered by NBC in counseling and guiding companies, and providing intensive training, coaching and mentoring with the aspiration of building entrepreneurial skills through a cutting-edge environment that allows entrepreneurs to flourish, network, form partnerships, and have access to business mentors.
It should be noted that NBC is an initiative launched by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates at the Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) to offer promising Omani entrepreneurs a platform to develop their business ideas and advance them into growing ventures.
