Muscat: Progress in execution of the labour market and employment initiatives were reviewed at a meeting of the Supervisory Committee for Labour Market and Employment Laboratory.
The review meeting held at the Ministry of Manpower came within the national programme for national economic diversification (Tanfeedh), and was presided over by Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Abdullah Al Bakri, Minister of Manpower.
The meeting examined the actions achieved in accordance with the identified time-frame as well as the procedures initiated
related to the initiatives execution plans.
Attendees were acquainted with the latest developments related to the rules and regulations of organising labour market resulting from the initiatives of the laboratory.
Indicators measurement panel for the year 2018 and the execution mechanisms for the future labour stages agreed upon were also reviewed and discussed.
The progress in performance indicators followed by concerned at the execution and follow up support unit were also reviewed.
