Indian brother-sister duo share credit of achievements with alma mater ISG

Muscat: Former pupils of Indian School Al Ghubra (ISG) — Komal Sanjay Jog and Suraj Sanjay Jog —did their alma mater proud with their outstanding achievements in their chosen fields.
Having been in Muscat during their childhood, the siblings completed their schooling at ISG.
Dr. Komal belongs to the batch, which graduated from ISG in 2009. She obtained her medical degree from Bangalore Medical College and completed her MD in Internal Medicine from Government Medical College, Nagpur.
She stood first in the college and secured the second rank in the state of Maharashtra. Komal has fond memories of her school where she got the opportunity to pursue her many interests, excelling in drawing, quiz, drama and dance.
Suraj excelled in academics throughout his schooling at ISG. He was ranked 24th in the Joint Engineering Examination (JEE).
Suraj did Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. He did his post graduation in engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
Recently, he was awarded the gold medal in the research student’s competition held as part of the SIGGCOMM conference, which took place in Budapest, Hungary, on August 23, 2018. SIGCOMM is the flagship annual conference of the Special Interest Group on Data Communication (SIGCOMM).
Suraj is presently doing his PhD in the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. This high-achieving brother-sister duo has fond memories of their school. They are grateful to ISG for laying the firm foundation on which they can continue to build a life in pursuit of excellence.
