Fire breaks out at car repair workshop in Oman

Muscat: Civil Defence managed to tackle a fire in Barka on Saturday, with authorities confirming that it shot up at a car repair workshop.

An official statement read "firefighting teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Centre in Barka were able to control a fire that broke out at a car repair workshop and carwash in the area of Al Saqsooq, without any injuries being recorded."

PACDA went on to warn against the overloading of electrical transformers, so to avoid the risk of them overheating and causing a fire.
