Expats arrested for stoning fellow countryman to death in Oman

Muscat: A group of expats have been arrested for the murder of an individual, who also hails from their country, in Salalah, Royal Oman Police announced on Sunday.
According to police, the suspects — of "Asian nationality" — "lured the victim to one of the wadis in the Sahlout area to buy some items. He was attacked with stones and killed."
In a statement online, ROP said, "The Department of Criminal Investigation in Dhofar arrested the suspects accused of the murder of an expat from the same nationality." The suspects confessed to committing the murder and were referred to the judicial authorities.
