Driver attempts dangerous wadi crossing, arrested

Police have recently arrested the driver of a vehicle who tried to make a risky crossing of an overflowing wadi.

However, the man failed to do so and got stuck in the middle of it instead.

"Referring to the video that is being circulated via social media about a person taking a risk and crossing a wadi recklessly, ROP notes that the driver of the vehicle has been dealt with and the case is under procedure." - Royal Oman Police

The police also called on the public not to risk their lives by crossing flowing wadis.
