Torrential rains have swept across parts of China, sparking flooding and forcing thousands from their homes.
Rescuers in Chengdu had to use rope lines to cross raging floodwaters and rescue people trapped in or on top of their homes.
The storms have also triggered landslides and caused traffic chaos in Sichuan province, in the country's south-west.
The bad weather is expected to last until Wednesday across the region.
