ROP tops customers’ satisfaction list in ITA survey on e-services

Muscat: In a survey conducted by the Information Technology Authority on the satisfaction of those using e-government services in 2018, the police were ranked first in the Sultanate.
The ROP received a 94 per cent ranking in providing electronic services through its different channels, and 90 per cent in assuring that their electronic services were accessibility to
the public.
The survey included four criteria: eServices using different channels, user support services, ease of use, and ease of payment.
Highest level
“Royal Oman Police has the highest level of satisfaction for e-government services with 94 percent. Invest Easy received 72 per cent, followed by the Ministry Of Health with 71 per cent and
Ministry of Manpower at 69 per cent of total beneficiaries,” according to a survey result conducted by ITA.
The e-government services for ROP were ranked first in terms of usage, at 71 per cent, followed by the Ministry of Manpower with 25 per cent. The utilisation rate for Invest Easy received 9 per cent, while the MOH was at 7 per cent in the use of its e-services.
