Muscat: The 2nd Karate Tournament for girls was concluded at Nizwa Club, in Dakhliya Governorate with a participant of 45 girls from different Karate Academy Centers in Oman.

The tournament organized by the Karate Academy in Oman (JKA Oman).The participants were categorized by age and level as part of the rules and regulations of the competition. where The girls are accompanied by their parents, families, and friends to give support on the competition.

"Discipline, confidence, patience, and concentration are some of the many advantages that karate instills to young girls, and using all of these attributes will help them to become an empowered woman in the future," Sensei Said Al Hashami, Chairman of JKA Oman said.

Raneem Zerili Karate player said: “because of karate we prove our existence as positive girls and we will become an active member of our society in future, so we ask the society to keep giving us the chance to express ourselves, and support us on our avocation."

From elimination round to semi-finals of the tournament, all the girls showed their best to advance in the final match. Despite being hit hard, pinned down to the floor, the girls continue to fight with honor and confidence. and demonstrated their skills in Karate.

During the final ceremonies, Mrs. Zuwainah Al Nabhani, President of Omani Women’s Association in Nizwa together with Sensei Said Al Hashami, Chairman of JKA Oman and Sensei Asma Bint Ammar, Authorized Female Karate Instructor of JKA Oman awarded the medals and trophies to the triumphant girls.
