Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture received an invitation from Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulziz Al Saud, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) to take part in activities of Okaz Market in the field of culture, art and craft, due to be organised in Ta’if city during 27 May till 13 June 2018.
The invitation was received by Sheikh Hamad bin Hilal Al Ma’amari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture for Cultural Affairs when he received in his office on Tuesday Eid bin Mohammed Al Thaqafi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to the Sultanate.
The two sides discussed the importance of enhancing the existing cultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries by holding more joint activities and cultural programmes namely book fairs and exchanging authors and books on various cultural fields in both countries, as well as discussing the Sultanate’s participation in the national heritage and culture festival “Janadriyah” in the KSA.
