Muscat: Oman's first budget airline SalamAir has announced that it is putting up 20,000 seats on sale with a discount fare, the airline announced on Sunday.
The offer is limited for 48 hours, with tickets to 10 select destinations starting from OMR21. "20,000 seats on sale. For only 48 hours SalamAir is offering tickets to 10 selected destinations from just OMR 21!" the airline said, adding that bookings need to be completed on April 8 and 9, for air travel valid until June 10.
Awarded its air service operator licence by the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) in early 2016, SalamAir's journey started in January 2017 when it flew from Salalah to Muscat.
The brainchild of ASAAS—a national investment and development company—SalamAir was formed to meet Oman’s rapidly growing demand for air traffic, which is expected to grow by 40 per cent by 2019.
