Muscat: A farm that was allegedly irrigated using treated sewage water is currently under investigation by the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources.
The farm’s produce is now being held back from markets, pending the conclusion of the ministry’s lab analysis of produce and water from the farm.
The farm came under scrutiny following a video that went viral online, claiming treated sewage water was used to irrigate fruits and vegetable.
