Muscat: Riding on Pradeep Salian’s amazing six for 13, Sarco thrashed OCT Seeb by 52 runs in a Senior Cup Knockout T20 game at the Muscat Municipality Ground I in Al Amerat.
Invited to bat first, Sarco posted 180 for nine in 20 overs thanks to valuable knocks by Sathisha Achary (70 off 44) and Akshath Castelino (40 off 28). Star Omani all-rounder Sufyan Mahmood bagged three for 30 while Younis Al Balushi claimed two for 49.
Pradeep ran through the OCT Seeb line-up, taking six wickets as the all-Omani side were dismissed for 128 in 17.3 overs. Saeed Khan chipped in with two for 33. Sufyan Mahmood was the only OCT Seeb batsman to impress, scoring a solid 71 off 54 balls.

Zawawi rout MCS
In another knockout game, Zawawi Powertech Engineering sent Muscat Cricket Sports (MCS) packing with a crushing seven-wicket defeat at Muscat Municipality Ground II.
Opting to bowl first, Zawawi bundled MCS out for a paltry 102 in 18.3 overs. Opener Rahul Kerai topscored with 49 off 47. For Zawawi, Satnam Singh and Sachin Kumar bagged two wickets each.
In reply, Zawawi Powertech raced to the target in just 11.2 overs, scoring 104 for three. Sachin Kumar led the way with a superb 39 off 22 while Prabhakaran Kannan slammed 21 off 11 balls.
For MCS, Ahmed Khan took two for 19.

Manas, Sagheer lift NBO
In an Intermediate Cup knockout match, NBO eased to 42-run win over Al Fairuz thanks to superb match-winning performances by Sagheer Muhammed and Manas Kapoor.
Batting first, NBO amassed 194 for six in 20 overs with Sagheer topscoring with 65 off 47. Mustansar Hussain contributed 44 off 27 while Manas slammed a hurricane 30 off just 12 balls. Hashim Basheer, Sajith Mohandas and Satham Hussain took two wickets apiece for Al Fairuz.
Al Fairuz failed to mount a serious challenge, scoring 152 for nine in 20 overs with only Zaheer Ahmed making an impression with 43-ball 64. Manas claimed four for 17 while Moazzam Shah bagged two for 20.

RAHRC win thriller
RAHRC registered a thrilling six-run win over Mott MacDonald in an Intermediate Cup game.
Asked to bat first, RAHRC posted 176 for four on the board in 20 overs thanks to brilliant batting by Nandkumar Bhaskarrao (73 off 50), Ajithkumar Krishna (unbeaten 45 off 25) and Faris Said Ali Al Zedjali (30 off 28).
Mott MacDonald looked set to win the game after scoring 157 in 16.4 overs but lost the last four wickets cheaply to be all out for 170 in 18.3 overs. Captain Savinraj Rajappan topscored with a wonderful 77 off 36 balls but could not take his side to victory. Faris Said Ali Al Zedjali claimed four for 18 while Mohammed Firoz netted three for 31.
