Zimbabwe Mufti to deliver lectures at Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

Muscat: Habib bin Mohammed Al Reyami, Secretary General of the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science (SQHCCS) received in his office on Tuesday Sheikh Ismail Menk, Mufti of the Republic of Zimbabwe, who is currently visiting the Sultanate.
Al Reyami expressed his appreciation for this visit and gave the guest a briefing on the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science (SQHCCS) and its mission, objectives and major roles, efforts in spreading cultural awareness among members of the society, supporting various cultural, knowledge, scientific and artistic fields and spreading a culture of dialogue and coexistence among human beings, as well as promoting trust, mutual respect and common understanding.
The Mufti of Zimbabwe expressed his happiness to visit the Sultanate, praising the important roles and efforts of the Centre in spreading cultural awareness and supporting various cultural, knowledge and artistic fields.
The visit of the Mufti of Zimbabwe comes within the framework of the cultural programmes plan of the Centre for 2018.
The guest will give a number of lectures during his visit to the Sultanate, which will be all held in the lectures hall at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. The lectures will be on the “True Message of the Prophets on Thursday at 7:15 pm, Islam in the Modern World: Opportunities and Challenges”, next Friday and the “Role of Woman in Islamic Civilisation” next Saturday.
