GOIC plans Omani-Qatari entrepreneurs meeting promote partnerships

Doha: In order to promote industrial and commercial partnerships between Omani and Qatari enterprises and contribute to the economic development of both the countries, a meeting of entrepreneurs from the two sides will be held in April.
The Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) will organise the two-day meeting in the Qatari capital, Doha from April 11, 2018.
The meeting comes as part of GOIC's efforts to strengthen industrial and trade cooperation and coordination among the GCC countries with the participation of decision-makers, businessmen and investors.
The Oman-Qatar joint meeting seeks to promote industrial and commercial partnerships and contribute to the economic development between the two countries through promoting cooperation among Omani and Qatari businessmen and investors.
The exhibition, which will be held on the sidelines of the meeting, will contribute to highlighting investment opportunities, their areas, nature and features in both countries to help young entrepreneurs to innovate, as well as encouraging investment of all kinds.
The meeting aims to benefit from unlimited human and natural potentials and increase economic relations at all levels, as well as encouraging partnerships among factory owners and experts in both countries and facilitating the task of Omani and Qatari businessmen in investment whether in Oman or Qatar.
The meeting is an opportunity to upgrade the Omani-Qatari economic relations for the interest of augmenting the volume of trade exchange to reach levels that meet aspirations of the two countries.
Further, the meeting will focus on a range of vital economic sectors, the most important of which are heavy industries and business logistics, tourism, technology, software, real estate sector, hospital management, gas sector and its derivatives, pharmaceutical industry and its derivatives, food processing, agriculture and livestock sector.
Additionally, the meeting will discuss several themes that include promoting trade and contributing to economic development between the two countries, as well as investment in the technology and communications sector.
The meeting will present specialised working papers during which consultative sessions will be held for one stop shop to facilitate business, signing agreements and organising visits to industrial zones to familiarise with landmarks in Qatar.
