Knowledge Oman to hold Women Entrepreneurship seminar

Muscat: Knowledge Oman is holding a seminar about Women Entrepreneurship on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at the training center of Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA) at 5:30 pm.
The purpose of the workshop is to showcase the elite entrepreneurs and get to know more about their stories, proving the strong capabilities and skills demonstrated by the local entrepreneurs and aspire towards coaching the next generation to pursue the same path. It is worth mentioning despite the current economic slowdown, the interest of starting businesses is growing positively and the number of SMEs in Oman is increasing steadily.
Featured in this edition of the workshop, Knowledge Oman has invited some distinguished entrepreneurs from various sectors, including Zuwaina Al Rashdi, CEO of Dar Al Hirafiya, Ghada Al Harthi, Founder and Managing Director of Café G Patisserie and Waleema Gourmet, Atifa Al Lawati, Owner of Atifa Jewellery, Nadia Khan, Founder of Cloud 9 (The Bake Studio) and Hala Al Balushi, owner of Fashion Designer and Hala Events Management Company.
In addition, Knowledge Oman is inviting Sharifa Al Barami, Managing Director of Oman Technology Fund to be the master of ceremony regarding the seminar, adding more enriching profile to have fruitful outcomes.
Balqees Al Hasani, Vice President of Knowledge Oman said: “The focus of our last entrepreneurship seminar series will focus on women and specifically how women start, run and lead a business successfully. Our goal is to help shed light and put focus on the challenges, opportunities and share learning on what is and what is not possible for women in Oman.”
