You can now renew your commercial records online

Muscat: Investors can now renew their commercial records online, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) announced.
According to a statement by MoCI, “Investors can renew their commercial registries electronically via the Invest Easy portal without having to attach any documents.” The Ministry added, “All that they require is to choose the service, fill in the existing fields and pay the fees.”
“We have successfully added the service of renewing commercial registration," Invest Easy said.
Invest Easy has been gaining popularity, last year as many as 137,333 transactions were carried out electronically through their portal. According to a press release, these transactions were made for new registrations, renewal of commercial registries, changes in trade names and licenses for imports apart from certificates of releases and origins.
