Oman State Council Office reviews waste, other issues

Muscat: The State Council’s Office on Tuesday held its 5th meeting of the 3rd annual sitting of the 6th term under the chair of Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council.
The Office reviewed a range of topics presented by the honourable members that include wastes and their negative impacts on the environment.
The Office decided to refer the topic to the Social Committee to develop a general frame to study the topic.
The Office viewed a follow up report on decisions taken at its previous meeting and a follow up report on activities of the committees between this and previous meeting, as well as an evaluation report of the previous meeting, which was held on Tuesday, 23 January 2018.
