More than 100,000 Omanis have registered under the national fuel subsidy system since its opening on December 13.
Those registered constitute about 27.3% of the total number eligible to receive subsidy.
The system is scheduled to come into force starting from January 2018.
To ensure proper registration, a call centre (24174000) is operational from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm round the week.
