Sayyid Asa'ad heads to Turkey to participate in OIC summit

Muscat: As delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan left here on Tuesday heading to the Republic of Turkey to lead the Sultanate's delegation in the extraordinary summit of the Organsation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), scheduled to be held on Wednesday in Istanbul.
Sayyid Asa'ad and his accompanying delegation were seen off by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Advisor of the State, Sheikh
Saud bin Sulaiman Al Nabhani, Advisor of the State, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakri, Minister of Manpower, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al
Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, Mohammed bin Salim Al Toobi, Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs, Saif bin
Mohammed Al Abri, Secretary General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and
Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan and Atilay Ersan, Turkish Ambassador to the Sultanate.
Sayyid Asa'ad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs,
Sheikh Abdullamlik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Minister of Justice, Sheikh Mohammed bin Sa'ayid Al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development, Dr.
Qasim bin Mohammed Al Salhi, the Sultanate's ambassador to Turkey, Sayyid Dr. Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, the Sultanate's ambassador to
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and its Permanent Delegate to the OIC, Khalifa bin Hamad Al Badi and Saif bin Ahmed Al Sawafi, Advisors in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty, Sheikh Salim bin Suhail Al Ma'shani, Head of the International Organisations Department at the Foreign Ministry and Mohammed bin Nasser Al Wahaibi, Head of the GCC Department at the Foreign Ministry.
