Muscat: After carrying out the required operations of cleaning and removing debris after the rain last week, all asphalt roads in the Sultanate have been opened to traffic by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The Ministry said some wadis are still overflowing and that specialists are monitoring the conditions of these wadis and are doing their best to ensure smooth traffic on all roads.
The Ministry will survey all the asphalt roads in different governorates damaged due to the adverse weather conditions, assess the damage and carry out the required repairs at the earliest.
The teams started their work immediately after rain stopped in Musandam, Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, South Al Batinah, North Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Sharqiyah and North Al Sharqiyah Governorates.
