He added, “It is very easy to open this account which is based on the Islamic profit sharing concept of Mudarabah. Customers need to maintain a minimum balance of OMR100 in their accounts for a month to be eligible for the draw. For every OMR100 balance, they get one chance to win, so the more they save, the greater their chances of winning.”
Following the success of the first prize account in 2016, Maisarah launched this year’s scheme with bigger prizes, including larger segments of customers. The unique feature of Maisarah Prize Account is that customers are eligible for the monthly expected profit on their deposits maintained in the account in addition to the prizes they may win.
Mohammed reminded, “As we approaching the grand prize of OMR50,000 in addition to the monthly draws, we encourage our customers to continue saving with Maisarah to be qualified for the draws.”
