Bayie.com announces first weekly winner of iPhone 8

Muscat: Raja Srinivasan was the lucky winner of the first week’s iPhone 8 of the Bayie.com mobile app launch campaign. The winner is a deputy manager at Saud Bahwan Group who posted a free classified ad through Bayie.com mobile app to sell household items as he was shifting to a new house.
Elated with his luck, Raja Srinivasan said, “The app is very easy to use. In fact, my 10 year old son downloaded the app, uploaded the pictures and posted the ad. Since it is a classified platform in Oman, I hope it will be very useful for citizens and residents of Oman.”
Srinivasan is a regular reader of Times of Oman and came to know about Bayie.com mobile app through the e-paper subscription and also through internet search.
Now available for the iPhone and Android, the app is the latest expansion from Bayie.com, which enables those who live in the Sultanate to buy and sell essential items in an online marketplace.
To celebrate the launch of the app, Muscat Media Group and Bayie.com are giving away a free iPhone 8, every week, for the rest of the year. All residents need to do to enter the competition is download the app and post an ad on Bayie.com, through the app.
Residents of Oman, who wish to download and use the Bayie app, need to visit the App Store or Play Store, and simply key in the words ‘bayie,’ enabling them to enter the online marketplace of the Sultanate anytime, anywhere.
