Main bridge in Muscat to be partially closed overnight for three weeks

Muscat: Wattayah Bridge has been partially closed for traffic from yesterday until November 26, officials have confirmed.
Drivers heading to Seeb from Ruwi will not be able to use the bridge between 8pm and 5am as essential maintenance work is carried out.
The work, according to a Muscat Municipality annuncement was to start yesterday.
“Muscat Municipality in cooperation with Royal Oman Police (ROP) announces the closure of traffic bound to Seeb on Wattayah Bridge in Al Nahdha Street, from November 4, 2017 to November 26, 2017 during timing between 8pm to 5 am, to carry out bridge maintenance works. We advise commuters going towards Seeb to use the signal junction below the bridge,” the municipality said in a statement.
