Airgun, bullets found by Oman police

Muscat: Police seized wireless devices and illegal cigarettes in Buraimi, Royal Oman Police announced.

The police station of Hafeet, under the leadership of Al Buraimi Governorate Police, seized a number of wireless devices and their accessories hidden under the front seats of the cars of the accused. Officers also confiscated an air weapon and 500 bullets.

Police officers at Wadi al-Jizi police station managed to arrest a person while trying to smuggle more than 100 boxes of contraband cigarettes, which he hid in different parts of his vehicle.

The defendants were referred to the judicial authorities to complete the legal proceedings.
