​Moroccans on fact-finding mission to Oman

Muscat: A Moroccan delegation visited the Sultanate to discuss Oman's National Ear Healthcare Programme.

The Moroccan health delegation was briefed on the National Ear Healthcare Programme, especially the Neonatal Hearing Screening Program in health institutions in order to benefit from the experience of the medical staff of this programme, which began in the Sultanate in 2000.

H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Saidi, Minister of Health received the delegation at his office yesterday, to find ways the Sultanate and the Moroccan Kingdom can collaborate in the health field.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Dr. Sultan bin Yarub Al-Busaidi, Advisor of the Ministry of Health for Health Affairs and the WHO representative to the Sultanate.

The delegation will visit a number of health institutions, such as Al-Nahda Hospital, Khoula Hospital, school health departments, and other institutions related to ear healthcare.
