Oman weather: Bahla receives maximum rainfall

Muscat: Wilayat Bahla recorded the maximum amount of rain, according to the Directorate General of Meteorology at the Public Authority for Civil Aviation.

The weather monitoring station in Bahla recorded 77.8 millimeters of rainfall, from 10am on March 9 to 7am on March 10, according to PACA.

Following Bahla was Mudhaibi with 66.4 millimeters recorded, Adam with 59.8 millimeters, Amerat with 48.8 millimeters and Fahud with 46.2 millimeters of rain.

Meanwhile, heavy thundershowers are expected to continue over parts of the Sultanate until Friday.

The PACDA continues to warn people not to venture out or group near overflowing wadis and take necessary precautions during the intense weather situation.
