Mukhaizna Airport's license renewed by Omani authorities

Muscat: Mukhaizna Airport's operational license was renewed for a period of two years, after Oman's Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) conducted the necessary checks on the airport.

"The Authority issued a license for the operation of Duqm Airport, and the license for the operation of Mukhaizna Airport was renewed for a period of two years after conducting the necessary checks on the two airports," PACA tweeted.

Mukhaizna Airport was established in 2015, by Oxy Oman and is approved by the Public Authority for Civil Aviation.

According to Oxy Oman, airport serves for transporting passengers and goods between Mukhaizna field and Muscat. The airport terminal is designed to serve passengers and air freight with an annual capacity of 130,000 passengers. It is part of a larger plan to develop infrastructure development in the field, which is also an advantage for the region.
