Muscat: Continuing their victory march, Indian School Ghubra (ISG) students won an unprecedented string of championships in the interschool quiz competitions.
Thanks to all the organisers of the different interschool competitions, who provided a platform for quiz enthusiasts to match their wits against the best. The exciting and thrilling contests that were held have unleashed the potential of all the participants from ISG.
It was a momentous and proud occasion for ISG when Shubham Bhan of Class VI, Aditya Harish of Class VII and Madhav Madhusoodanan of Class VIII clinched the Ambassador’s Rolling Trophy for the fourth time at the 10th National Quiz.
At the Interschool Junior Quiz Pot Competition held in Muscat, Adwaith Menon and team rose to the occasion and secured the second position.
In addition, Aditya Manjusha Shylesh and Ashwin Sankar steered the school to an emphatic victory and won exciting prizes at the prestigious XQuiz -ITZ Champion’s Trophy, wherein 300 teams from different schools participated.
To cap it all, quiz enthusiasts Saurav Shivprasad of Class XI, Vaishnav Nair of Class X and Akhil Gopikumar of Class IX (Seniors) and Malavika Sivaprasad of Class VIII, Siddharth Sajeev of Class VII and Merin of Class VI (Juniors) left no stone unturned in Interschool Quiz Competition conducted by Indian Social Club in which the school bagged the first position in both the categories, which saw more than 600 participating teams from all the Indian schools.
The Indian School Al Ghubra feels proud of the success achieved by these whizkids.
