Oman FA chief congratulates new FIFA boss Infantino

Muscat: Oman Football Association (OFA) chief Sayyid Khalid bin Hamad Al Busaidi sent a hand written congratulatory letter to newly-elected FIFA President Gianni Infantino on his first day in office.
According to a press statement issued by the OFA on Monday, Sayyid Khalid in his letter congratulated Infantino on his new position and talked about how he had earned the trust of the FIFA Congress.
The OFA chief also wished Infantino ‘luck and success in achieving his mission’.
The OFA statement also said the Sultanate’s soccer governing body is ‘prepared to deliver its duties towards the FIFA goals in appreciation to the role that FIFA plays in the development of football around the world and also because of the strong relationship between OFA and FIFA in various areas’.
