New police station to be inaugurated in Oman

Muscat: A new police station will open in the Wilayat of Haima, Al Wusta on Wednesday (7 November), the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced.

According to Royal Oman Police’s online statement, “ROP announces the opening of a new police command in Haima, al Wusta next Wednesday. [The inauguration will take place] under the patronage of His Excellency Abdullah Nasser al Harrasi, President of the Public Authority for Radio and TV, and with the attendance of Lt. Gen Hassan bin Mohsen Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, among other high-ranking officers.

"The occasion will also be marked by the graduation of a new batch of police recruits at the command's training field," the statement added.
