Deadly Cyclone Mora continues on her path of destruction, battering cities across Bangladesh and India, as Sri Lanka works to recover from her might.
A trail of devastation in Sri Lanka.
The city of Matara left battered by Cyclone Mora's might, the country's death toll on Wednesday (May 31) creeping toward 200 after days of intense flooding and landslides.
More than half a million Sri Lankans have been affected by the storm and nearly 75,000 forced from their homes. Many are seeking shelter anywhere they can find it, as more than 90 people remain missing.
"It has been four days. Nobody has come to check on our welfare. No government officials or anybody else. It is people in the area who have helped us, given us food and so on."
As aid began to trickle in to the island nation on Tuesday (May 30) Cyclone Mora was proving she's far from done, her force moving swiftly across the Bay of Bengal toward Bangladesh, where authorities say there are early reports of fatalities.
More than 15,000 homes have been destroyed across the country and hundreds of thousands of people have fled to shelters. The storm has also battered refugee camps, currently home to thousands of Rohingya Muslims who've fled violence in Myanmar.
Now unleashing her force on India, Cyclone Mora is bringing strong winds and heavy rains to the country's northeast, where already there are reports of damaged houses, uprooted trees and cuts to power.
