Oman crime: Two arrested for forging official documents

Muscat: Two expats were arrested for forging official documents, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.

The Department of Criminal Investigation, led by the police in the province of Al-Dhahirah, has arrested two expats of Asian nationalities on charges of forging official documents.

A source in the police said that the Department of Criminal Investigation received a report from the Medical Fitness Center at the Directorate General of Medical Services. The report detailed the discovery of fraud stamps in the certificates of the medical examination of two domestic workers.

The employers of the individuals were called, and after search and investigation, the accused were found and they admitted to the crime. The case has been referred to Public Prosecution.
