MUSCAT: Indian School Al Seeb lift the CBSE Oman Cluster Hockey Cup held on October 17 at Seeb Club Hockey Stadium in Al Khoud.
The tournament was held under the auspices of Moidu A K, president, School Management Committee, Mujeeb Hussain, chairperson, sports, SMC members, parents and students.
Three teams from various schools participated in the tournament - U-17 boys’ team from ISAS and ISAM; the U-17 girls’ team from ISAS and ISAM and ISWK to form a league. U-19 boys’ team was from ISAS, ISWK, and ISAM and U-19 girls’ team from ISAS and ISAM.
Team ISAM U-17 boys’ beat ISAS U-17 boys’ to lift the championship trophy. The ISAM U-17 girls’ defeated their fancied opponents ISAS U-17 girls’ in the league to lift the trophy.
In the U-19 category, ISWK outplayed ISAS and ISAM in the league match to lay their hands on the championship trophy. The runners-up trophy went to ISAS team. ISAS U-19 girls’ team lifted the coveted trophy.
A K Moidu, president, School Management Committee, members of SMC and Principal, Mrs. Leena Francis congratulated the teams, PE teachers, and coaches.
