Ban on Omani foods 'harming the Sultanate'

Ban on Omani foods has “greatly harmed the Sultanate”, said Shura member Hilal Al Yahyai. He asked for a clear and urgent strategy for agricultural production at the Shura Council. The UAE last week banned certain Oman produced vegetables from the country - citing high levels of pesticide. "To this day we did not receive the official list of banned products from the UAE,” said Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries.
