Registration for postgraduate studies in Oman begins soon

Muscat: Registration for postgraduate studies will begin on March 1 and continue until May 30, 2016, the Ministry of Higher Education announced on Sunday.
Earlier, it had been announced that postgraduate registration would begin on February 21. “The missions were granted more time so that they could have more time to prepare all the requirements and documentation required for the registration period,” a statement from Ministry of Higher Education said. The ministry recently offered 215 scholarships for the academic year 2016-2017, of which 37 are dedicated to medical studies.
New specialities have also been added this year, including Psychological Rehabilitation, Applications of Meteorology and Climatology, Climate Physics, Atmospheric Sciences, Architecture and Landscaping, Fire Safety Engineering, Electronic Sites Engineering, Aquaculture, and Museum Studies.
