Majlis A'Shura Health, Environment Committee hosts Ithraa

Muscat: Health and Environment Committee at Majlis A’Shura on Tuesday hosted specialists at the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development “Ithraa” to discuss with them the status of private investments in health sector.
The Committee, headed by Ahmed bin Said Al Hadhrami, Deputy Head of the Committee, also discussed with experts several issues including the main features of the strategic plan for investment in healthcare and the methods used to attract private investment to the Sultanate.
The specialists highlighted the efforts made and the facilities provided, as well as the challenges facing Ithraa. They also highlighted the investment promotion plan for ten sectors including the healthcare sector.
They also highlighted the subsidy and the facilities provided to potential investors in healthcare and other sectors as well.
The Committee will host on Wednesday specialists from Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and some private hospitals.
