Oman Cricket: Sinha hope to reach new heights with MDF support

Muscat: Muscat Duty Free (MDF) has become the sponsor of the Sinha Cricket Team, an Oman Cricket Premier Division side, during the current season.
The team will now be known as MDF Sinha Cricket Team.
Martin Mullen, General Manager of Muscat Duty Free, said: “Supporting sports in Oman is one of our key initiatives. We are proud to be sponsoring the MDF Sinha Cricket Team.”

Sinha CT has a 30-year association with Oman Cricket, having played in various divisions and gradually rising to the Premier Division in the 2015-2016.
In the current season, Sinha have shown marked improvement from the inaugural Premier Division season – with especially compelling performances from captain Dhammika Premadasa, Nalaka Pathum and Chaminda Lakmal.
Team manager Suraj Fernando and coach Mahi De Silva are confident that the sponsorship will provide the financial support needed to help Sinha Cricket Team to compete with the bigger teams and reach new heights in the years to come.
