70% of COVID-19 patients in Oman are citizens

Muscat: According to the statistics revealed by Ministry of Health app, Tarassud, 70 per cent of the COVID-19 patients in the country are Omanis while 30 per cent are expatriates. The app provides updates on the coronavirus situation in Oman and the rest of the world.

The data on Tuesday, showed that 14,950 Omanis are currently suffering with the COVID-19, in comparison to 6,358 expats. The total of sick patients in the Sultanate is 21,308.
