Muscat: The Sultanate ranks second, in the Arab world, on the 'Logistics Performance in the World' index which is based on the data issued by the World Bank.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said, "The Sultanate ranks second in the Arab world on the 'Logistics Performance in the World' index based on data issued by the World Bank, according to Savills, a global real estate consultant based in London."

"A virtual seminar held in the British capital on "global logistical performance" confirms that the Sultanate has provided important logistics services in the region and is facilitating the smooth interconnectedness between maritime and air transport, which allows enhancing its role as an attractive location for operators and investors in the international market," the statement added.
