State Council legal panel discusses personal data protection draft law

Muscat: The Legal Committee of the State Council has discussed the draft law on the protection of personal data, referred by the Council of Ministers.
During its ninth meeting, of the first annual session of the seventh term, headed by Dr. Rashid bin Salim bin Rashid Al Badi, in the presence of the members, and a number of General Secretariat employees, the committee reviewed the Council’s report on the follow-up of the actions and decisions taken at its previous meeting, in addition to ratifying the minutes of the meeting and touched on the latest developments.
