Students must submit e-applications to resume studies abroad

Muscat: The students who were studying abroad and wish to resume their studies to register electronically, the Ministry of Higher Education announced.

A statement issued online by Ministry of Higher Education said, "The Ministry has noted the need for students who wish to resume their studies abroad after they returned to the Sultanate due to the coronavirus pandemic, to submit their application via electronic files on the Ministry's website (through the inquiry service included in the auditor services)."

The Ministry confirmed, "So that the Ministry can limit these requests to taking the necessary permits from the competent authorities, and in the event that they do not register long enough before the deadline for travel, the Ministry does not bear any responsibility towards that."

The Ministry emphasized, "For students who have finished their studies abroad and wish to return to the Sultanate or enjoy a summer vacation between their families, the Ministry draws their attention that there are marching flights for Oman Air and Salam Air from Europe and some other destinations that are announced from time to time so they should follow up on relevant announcements On these trips."

"In order to be able to book one of them, with the necessity to inform the General Consulate of Melbourne and the cultural attachés of the travel dates after confirming the reservation," the statement added.
