Muscat: Oman will witness a noticeable increase in temperatures in the coming days, said Oman Meteorology.
According to the Oman Meteorology, the highest temperature recorded yesterday was 46 degrees Celsius in Wadi Al Maawil and Qurayyat, and 45 degrees Celsius in Rustaq, Sur and Al Amerat.
The Omani Meteorology said in a statement: "A noticeable rise in temperatures in most of the governorates of the Sultanate is expected during the coming days."
In addition, the governorates of Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliya, North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, and Al Wusta will witness active northwest wind, which can lead to rise of dust.
